Introduction of Magnetic Separator

Magnetic separator uses different magnetic separation coefficient of various minerals to separate materials by means of magnetic force and mechanical force of the magnetic minerals.  During the daily production, the wet magnetic separator is commonly used. Among wet magnetic separators, wet permanent drum magnetic separator is the best, which is the most commonly used magnetic separator.

In the mineral processing process, magnetic separation of minerals is a very important step. In the separation of strong magnetic minerals with small granules or weak magnetic minerals, the selection of magnetic separator is more important. The Operation Methods of Magnetic Separator:

1 Before starting the machine, you must fully examine every part to make sure whether it is normal.
2 The swing range of rockers should not have obstacles.
3 Correctly select the spindle speed and feeding rate, which cannot be overload.
4 If the magnetic separator needs to change speed, it can only wait until the spindle stops completely.
5 If abnormalities are found during the operation, the machine must be stopped immediately to check the problems.

Common Fault Analysis of Magnetic Separator:

1. The motor overheating and abnormal sound of magnetic separator.
1) Bad bearing lubrication or serious wear and tear.
2) Fan leaf shedding or wear.
3) The switching circuit connection is poor, or the connection is broken.
4) The voltage is too low.
2. The reducer is overheating
1) Lacking of oil or bad oil quality.
2) Too much wear of the gear and worm, or the engagement is not good.
3) Bad bearing lubrication or serious wear and tear.
3. The magnetic field strength of magnetic separator is weak.
1) The temperature is too high.
2) Exposure to the sun.
3) Acid and alkali corrosion.
